Devoted to universal artistic values the creators at Caran d’Ache have chosen to interpret the theme of the forest by transforming silver sculpture. The delicate high-reliefs miniature in-the-rounds and fine chiselling on the bodies of the Spirit of Wildlife writing instruments reflect the craftsmen admiration for the wonderful world living in the undergrowth.
With subtle symbolism a majestic stag and a doe call to mind the union of a couple and rebirth. A stag with proud antlers a pheasant and a wild board live together among the wood anemones leaves and acorns which decorate all the scenes represented down to the figurative clip. The sculpted silver structure is superimposed on the matt black lacquered body of the writing instruments playing with volumes to recreate the vitality and mystery of the forest. A natural-green peridot housed in the end of the top complete the whole symbolising harmony love and wisdom.
